     Born in 1951, raised and educated in Florida (graduate - University of Central Florida), I moved to Charlottesville in 1979 as YMCA Director.  After retiring from the YMCA in 1989, I co-founded Fitness Gallery, a retail exercise equipment store.  I sold my interest in 1999 and began working at Dive Connections.

    I have two children, Lauren and John, who are both divers and who also work part-time at Dive Connections.  My wife of 25 years, Carolyn, while not a diver has gone on several dive trips with me as a vacation and had a great time.

    I particularly enjoy traveling and diving in the Caribbean.  Besides the pleasure it brings me, I am able to help our customers more effectively with their dive travel.
