PADI Assistant Instructor #178026

    I first started diving off and on in 1993 but after a deployment to Panama in 1996 and diving in the tropical waters down there with a divemaster guide, I realized how little I actually knew about diving and decided to learn more. 

    I decided to start over at the beginning and went through the PADI Open Water Course and then continued on up the chain. I have been diving in the Atlantic - off the coast of North Carolina, a little in the Caribbean, and a lot in the chilly waters of the Pacific Northwest. 

    Along the way I discovered that as much as I enjoyed diving, I enjoyed being a divemaster even more. I recently completed the Assistant Instructor Course and hope to become a full Instructor soon.
