World class shipwreck diving

explore some of history’s most famous shipwrecks in the warm and
clear gulfstream waters off North Carolina.
Feel the History...
Literally! We have plans to dive 3 U-Boats this summer
with more to follow. Join us to dive these Wolves of the Sea
and explore their history and that of the US merchant fleet history
during World War II an era of unprecedented violence and great
heroism set against a backdrop of a world in chaos.
May 15-16 -
U-352
Aboard the Dive Down - $279. Boat Tickets Only
Our first stop is the U-352,
off the coast of North Carolina near More head City. We'll be
diving form the Diver Down with Captain Bobby Cox. This is a
classic, must see wreck in 115 ft of water, sunk May 9, 1942 by the
US Coast Guard cutter Icarus. <learn more>
June 12-13 -
U-701
with Dive Hatteras - $339. Boat Tickets Only
Our next stop is the U-701.
Launched in 1941, the U-701 sunk 9 ships and damaged 4 other before
be laid to rest off Cape Hatteras in 115 feet. The wreck is
considered an advanced dive. Weather is often difficult and space on
our dive boat will be very limited.

Our finals stop the year
will be the U-85. The U-85 had four patrols in American water
and sunk 3 ships. I was sunk on June 7, 1942 by the USS Roper.

All of our dives will be
within in recreational dive limits. We will visit the U-Boats
and several other sunken vessels in the area as we explore each of
their history during this tumultuous period of our world's and
nation's history.
All participants must be
certified as Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certification prior to
embarking on the boat. We will be providing a Free Wreck
Diver Specialty Instruction during the tour although it is not
likely that we would completed it in any single weekend. Final
certification requires some materials and a certification card form
PADI both of which are additional charges.
